{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for VSC Session (18th November 2025-Tuesday)

The VSC session will be held in person and online mode today from 6.30-8.30PM at the Warden room in A block hostel(near hall above A mess, 1st floor). If you are not able to find the classroom kindly call to the number below. Anyone interested in joining the session online can use the following google meet link: https://meet.google.com/zfw-ahfa-qyp . Today we will continue the chapter from The central theme of Srimad Bhagavatham.

Meeting minutes of last class:

1. life is impermanent and just be considered as an instrument for action.
2. A devote is just interested in love for loves sake and not like a trader to bargain.
3. Gita says four types of people worship me -
   
   • One who is distressed
   • One who wants wealth and knowledge
   • One who wants wisdom
   • love as a duty
     
4. Bhagavatham should be read with stutis and dialogues. (Kunti, Bhisma, Prahalada, Gagendra and Dhruva stutis are important ones)

Today we will continue and finish the central theme of Srimad Bhagavatham.
