{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for VSC Session (25th August 2025-Monday)

[Vivekananda Study Circle IISc]

Namaste 

Vivekananda Study Circle, IISc, (VSC, IISc) will be holding a general Q&A session during the VSC class on the last Monday of every month, starting from TODAY i.e., 25 August. The Q & A session will be addressed by our VSC mentor, Gokulmuthu Narayanaswami sir, IISc Alumni .  

We request you to submit questions using the above form about Vedanta/Hinduism/spirituality, the writings of Swami Vivekananda or, if you are looking for answers from a Vedantic perspective, any question about life. We encourage questions on a wide variety of topics, without limiting them to what has been discussed during the classes. Please feel free to ask as many as you would like. 

You may post your name or choose to ask the question anonymously. We look forward to seeing you in the class.

The VSC session will be held in person and online mode on Monday from 6.30-8.30PM at the Warden room in A block hostel(near hall above A mess, I floor). If you are not able to find the classroom, kindly call the number below. Meeting minutes of last week:-
(Practical Vedanta)
1. Vedanta preserves dualism as partial truths on the path of growth.
2. Jiva is eternal, carries karma, and evolves by manifesting its inner potential.
3. Advaita teaches freedom and perfection are already within, bondage is only ignorance. 
4. True morality rests on unselfishness and love, the one real force of the universe.

(Eastern and western Disciple)
1. India could rise only through spiritual renewal, renunciation, and service to the masses, dedicating his life to their upliftment. 
2. From this vision was born his decision to go West, spread India’s message, and return to regenerate his motherland.
