{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for the VSC Session on 09th February 2026

Welcome to VSC IISc weekly class.

As discussed in the last class we will have a Quiz competition on the Call to the Youth of nations book (link). The classes that we do will be helpful for preparation of the quiz. While attending the VSC sessions is not mandatory for participating in the quiz, it will greatly help in understanding the nuances of Swamiji’s teachings. Participants may attend the sessions either offline or online. Those who are interested in participating in the quiz are requested to fill out the registration form: [form link].

The quiz will be conducted in offline mode, and further details will be shared in due course. Cash prizes will be awarded for top three performers.

Meeting minutes of last class:

• In the last class we read the first chapter in the Call to the Youth of Nations book.
• We saw a short biography of Swamiji's life history on how he came to Sri Ramakrishna, his journey as a wandering monk, Swamiji's Chicago lecture, Swamiji's lecture from Colombo to Almora.
• Today we will start the next chapter.
