{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for VSC Session today(Monday, 14th July 2025)

The VSC session will be held in person and online mode today from 6.30-8.30PM at the Warden room in A block hostel(near hall above A mess, I floor). If you are not able to find the classroom kindly call to the number below. Meeting minutes of last week:-

1. In the last week's class, we saw Swamiji's visit to multiple places including Gujarath, Maharashtra, Belgaum from Eastern and Western disciples' books.

2. In the last week we started Practical vedanta lectures as well, deciding we shall read this book also along with Eastern and Western disciples for some duration.

3. Multiple important contents were embedded in the first lecture. A few from my notes are given

• Give up selfishness and self enjoyment.
• Calmness refers to perfect inactivity during a real active state
• The greatest error is to say that you are a sinner. You are divine.
• Vedanta teaches to have faith in himself first and one who doesn't have faith in himself is an atheist. 

4. Today we shall read a few portions from Practical Vedanta and a few portions from Swamiji's life history(Through southern India to Cape Comorin).
