SWAMI VIVEKANANDA A Biography by His Eastern and Western Disciples
Meeting minutes of last week:-
1. At Baranagore Math, Naren and the young disciples of Shri Ramakrishna immersed themselves in intense spiritual practices meditation, song, worship, and severe austerity. Here they read and debated extensively which acted as the foundation for their vast knowledge.
CHAPTER 13
1. The monastic Order of Ramakrishna was formally established at Baranagore, with the disciples taking vows of renunciation and adopting new monastic names.

3. Restless for God-realisation, Naren and the other monks undertook pilgrimages across India, seeking spiritual growth through hardship, solitude, and service.
4. Several monks, including Trigunatita, Akhandananda, Abhedananda, Saradananda, and Premananda, went on pilgrimages to Vrindaban, Tibet, and Puri, while Ramakrishnananda stayed at Baranagore. Naren (Swami Vivekananda) journeyed extensively to Varanasi, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Agra, Vrindaban, Govardhan, Radhakunda, and Hardwar.
5. Naren was joined on his mission to spiritually regenerate India by Sharat, who wholeheartedly joined him on the austere path of a wandering monk despite hardships.
