Abstract: Recent applications developed at Microsoft Research have explored deep-learning Tensor Product Representations (TPRs) for problems in AI and NLP. An example will be presented, after reviewing the theory of TPRs. Results will also be presented on the use of highly-compressed TPRs to encode parse trees in a large-scale NLP corpus.
