In the passage, the comparison of honesty of Macbeth and Banquo is
shown to let the audience to understand the gluttony of Macbeth.
Banquo said "I dreamt last night of the three weird sister" this shows
that Banquo is honest to say that he still is a little struggle about
what the witches said. Macbeth said"I think not of them", this is a
complete contrast of his mind, in fact he is only trying to say this
in order to keep away Banquo suspecting him as a murderer.
