Log: Restore 63b120b4074274034af33d542310b0ec6563fb01.

The OS X case seems to be a little out of whack at this point. If
dlopen(3) is used instead of the deprecated Mach-O dynamic loading
functions, an assertion error is triggered.

This reverts commit ad8e503e731c1f2cdd33879f3270ed342c3e43ca.
