hello
My project is to realise a surgical simulator in the CAVE. My problem is how interact with 3D object by the Joystick.
I use OpenGl and VRJuggler.

depending on windows and on linux, different jconf file is needed. Compile one of the sample code for OpenGL and run it with the appropriate joystick jconf file will get the navigation using joystick for free...

good luk..

Thank you for your response
navigation is correct.  The problem is how move the objetc by joystick in the virtual space ( change the postion in The cave) (matrix problem)

ohh.... see if this make any sense....

you will need to have two modes in your app, 1. for using joystick as navigation 2. get the joystick input to move the object instead and cut off the data from joystick to the navigation code

so when in mode #2, use the data from the joystick to update the location of the object... plus and minus the location based on the data from joystick...
