All,

We ordered a dev kit for the Oculus Rift with the idea of adding support to VR Juggler.

I haven't seen the SDK yet, but I understand that it will supply orientation data and that the stereo view is side-by-side with shaders to pre-distort the images for the optics.  I think a device driver will be straightforward for tracker input, but I don't think we've ever handled a shader approach to stereo in VR Juggler.  I'm looking for suggestions as to how we might generically implement something like that so that any OpenGL-based VR Juggler application could be set up for the Oculus device.

You might want to look at how OSG viewer does it, since I know it supports many more stereo modes than juggler.
