boost::signals has been deprecated as of 1.54.0. The vapor library should
be migrated to boost::signals2. A porting guide is available at
<http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_54_0/doc/html/signals2/api_changes.html#signals2.porting>.

(boost::signals still works in 1.54.0 but generates a compiler warning
noting that it's been deprecated.)
