I've changed the realmlist in \WoW TBC\realmlist, \WoW TBC\WTF\Config, \WoW TBC\Data\enUS\realmlist and it's still putting me to Archangel. I've been trying to do both Warmane and Burning-Crusade, change isn't accepting for some reason.

ok, i am setting up a server for myself and a few friends. the server is going to be at my home network, but my friends will be connecting from out side of it. there is only one column of data in the realmlist table so how and what would i do to add the local ip and external ip's to the table.

Well, what I am saying is you have to configure the realm to accept connections from outside your network. You'll do this by changing the local IP entered in `realmlist` table to your external IP ( ) after you've done that along with port forwarding and adding the proper firewall exceptions. You should be able to receive connections outside your own network...

So, I am asking here because it is about the realmlist. So when I open the realmlist it has a bunch of Null values that are incomprehensible and also the realmlist file is in .frm form. Any fix? Here's the link for what the file looks like. I just need to see something comprehensible for this so I can change it. No one but me can log in because of it.

realmlist.frm is an interal file used by MySQL to store the realmlist table. You cannot edit it directly. Learn MySQL basics (like the guide I linked above) and learn how to execute queries on a database.

Around patch 2.1, a new directive was added to the to the realmlist.wtf, the current use of this directive is unknown, but it's believed to be added to support the Blizzard Launcher's latest feature to notify you of new patches, the launcher itself connects to us.version.worldofwarcraft.com and gets a file called PatchSequenceFile.txt. This file contains an update path for the game, and the launcher.

Change your wtf/config.wtf file Go to your game directory and open "config.wtf" file using a text editor, such as notepad. Change line which contains the realmlist to: set realmlist logon.stormforge.gg

Each login server will connect you to the same realm, but the path that each server takes is geographically different. This means that you can try each realmlist and see which one provides you with the lowest latency.

i made a simple program that can chance your realmlist. I use it alot cause i play on multiple servers and i dont want to go the realmlist.wtf in my wow folder and look op what the realmlist was for the other server...

Once you did download World of Warcraft 3.3.5a, open the directory & you can start playing by running our launcher "Unlimited-WoW Launcher.exe" (If you can't connect, make sure you login with your username and not with your e-mail address.)

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT 3.3.5a CLIENT INSTALLED:

1. First of all, you must create an account.

2. Open up the "World of Warcraft" directory. The default directory is "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft". When you've found it, open up the directory called "data", then go into the directory called either enUS or enGB, depending on your client language.

3. Open up the file called "realmlist.wtf" with a text editor such as Notepad. To do this, you must right click on the file and choose properties, then select notepad as the default software for files with the ".wtf" ending. You may also just start the text editor and drag the file into the edit window.

4. Erase all text and change it to:
