Welcome to the online user group for VRDC seat holders!

This group is for seat holders who have access to the CMS Virtual Research Data Center. This is a support and collaboration user group for data scientists who have access to approved data files and conduct their analysis within the CMS secure environment.

Fred Trotter is your moderator for this group should you have any questions. He is a data scientist with CareSet working in the VRDC environment. Fred is available to help facilitate conversation, give updates, make announcements, and provide other timely information.

This group usually covers, but is not limited to, these general topics:

VRDC Technical best practices - technical tips, tricks, and questions concerning VRDC
VDRC "feature" requests. We don't have the ability to actually answer requests but may be in a position to ask for features from CMS/CCW "on behalf" of the VRDC users group
Security Best Practices: Policies and information about how to maintain a secure and compliant VRDC workspace
