Hej lovely people,

I'm trying to integrate the Rift (DK1 actually) into the Blender Game engine.
I know that some of you sucesfully did.
What did you use ?

I'm also trying to use VRPN to recover the input from an hydra.
Do you know what should I use to make that working.

Thanks :-)

Sincerely

Kosen

Um, what exactly are you having problem with? Hydra works with VRPN out of the box, just configure the server properly.

Interfacing VRPN to Blender is a different issue, I am not a Blender expert, unfortunately. I know that some people used a little relay that took VRPN data from Hydra and translated them into JSON that was then fed over a socket into the Python scripts driving objects in Blender, but perhaps someone will know more.

J.

Hej jan.
Thanks for your quick answer :-).

The problem I have are not on the vrpn side, but on the intégration of all that stuff inside blender.
I'll will have a look a this "VRPN to JSON" converter.

I'll let you know how things are going.

Cheers
