Funny you mention that. My last thoughts last night where about how to
play VR games, but still make it a social experience.
This is what I thought could be a nice setting:
One or more HMD with head tracking (on the HMD). a full body tracking
like the natal system, and of course, at least one controler in hand
( but i really like the wiimote and nunchuk, or ps3 move or sixsense).
That should be immersive enought to play a nice VR game.Gloves with
force feedback even better....
But how to make it a social experience? Of course, you could play with
other people ( another set of HMD etc...) but what if you don't have
as many sets as people?
I think displaying the game on a 3d TV screen could work. Double
display...
And maybe add head tracking so the person watching you play can even
help you in your game, or just give him a degree of freedom while
watching.
