I use Python on my iPad, using the Carnet Plus app, a Jupiter notebook type.
I could load vpython without any problems.
However, when I try to run anything, it seems to either ignore it, or, more often, it seems to enter an ‚infinite loop‘.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your best bet is to contact the Carnet Plus developer. He is very responsive to user questions.

Dear Joe,
YES, Nicolas Holzschu is indeed VERY responsive to customers‘ questions, unfortunately he also could not help me.
Thanks anyway!

I'm afraid you're out of luck. None of us who work with VPython know anything about Carnet Plus, no one in in this forum seems to know anything about it, and you seem to be the only person affected. The only glimmer of possibility I can point to is the ability to write and run VPython programs on tablets and phones by going to webvpython.org, which doesn't require any software installation (though with the downside that one can't import Python modules other than random, due to one's Python code being transpiled to JavaScript to run in the browser).

I've experimented with it on my iPad Pro but haven't tried using VPython with it because I was under the impression that it wasn't supported for some reason or other (I seem to recall emailing the developer about it).

Perhaps you could share the program you're trying to run?

Dear Bruce,

As I only wanted to ‚play around‘ with it, nothing serious or work related, it is no big deal that I cannot use it.
Thanks for your reply!
