VPT8 Big Sur not working on macOs Monterey - version 12.0

• Operating Version: macOS Monterey (Macbook pro 16 inch, 2021)
• VPT : VPT8 Big Sur

2- When I open the default maxpat or the emptyproject maxpat file, the video or image does not show either on the monitor or in preview window. I can hear the audio but no image. Also, the VPT does not turn on automatically when I open the project (maxpat). I have to turn it on. The corners are also not visible either on preview or projector screen. Plus, the layers store function does not work and does not store any preset
