Hi,

I'm adding this to the forum, just in case anyone runs into this issue:

If you're trying to install VPT8 in Windows and you get an error message because MSVCR120.dll cannot be found, go to the Microsoft website and install Visual Studio 2013 (VC++ 12.0). This version is no longer supported, but it will correct the problem (the latest version will not).

I'm a little surprised that no one has reported this problem since 2016.
