Deleting layers

How do you delete layers? I cannot for the life of me figure it out, even after watching the tutorial video and reading through the online manual; forgive me if I've missed it.

the minus button next to the plus button in the top left corner.

Upper left corner of the control page. Where you add the new layers there is a plus and minus button, right next the the number of layers available. Click on the layer number you want removed and click the minus button
