Syphon issues

Hello,

I am using a Mac book Pro OSx 10.8.2 retina and am trying to get a syphon signal from VDMX into VPT. I know VDMX is sending through syphon using a syphon viewer. VPT can see the server, but when I select it nothing is displayed (I have correctly assigned the layers).

I have tried using VPT6 r11 and r9 and also VPT5.1 and none of them work.

I have tried it on a Mac Pro running 10.6.8 and this works fine using the same config using VPT 6r09.

Any ideas? Could it be a OSx 10.8 issue? Have I missed a config setting somewhere?

Have you tried the syphon server and syphon client? Any results with that? I have 10.8 and no problems with syphon (resolume).

Yeah, the syphon server and client works fine. I know VDMX is sending as I can receive it on the simple syphon client, for some reason VPT just wont display the feed even though it detects the server.

I am having the same problem. Mac Retina OS 10.8. VPT r13. Syphon output from Avmixer is fine, can see it in the simple client. It's a bit unstable coming into VPT, I have to reload the syphon and check for syphon servers. I can get it all working but when I hit full screen projector all the syphon visuals disappear. I can see other sources in full screen but not the syphon sources. Ideas?

just chiming in to say i'm having the same issue. VPT would be an almost perfect tool for me if i could simply take in syphon inputs. if anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear em... i'm not particularly tech savvy so i don't have much to offer myself.

Just to chime in, I'm having the same issues on my end.  VPT6_r13 with OS x 10.8.4
