How Can I save a project?

I copied empty project folder and added into project folder. Then I renamed the empty project folder- What else do I need to do to save all project and start from same saved state?

Spent at it all night and all is clear now! Love VPT8 :) Even have it sending to spout and recording high quality video edits... Love this!

How did you get it to work, I am clearly doing something wrong, I followed all the directns and my project path looks correct according to what I saw on this forum, I saved it in the User folder, I opened from the project file like in the instructions, but it doesnt save anything, I really wanna use this tool, I had a really awesome result but it was just deleted because it didnt actually save :( :

Figured out at least this part of the process, This was due to a permissions Issue, I needed to make sure that the VPT-8 Files in windows were not set to read only and I also needed to make sure that VPT-8 had admin permissions so that it could save properly without admin permissions it cant save proplerly.
