VPT8 M1 Beta - Presets won't save properly

Hi, I'm using the VPT8 M1 Beta on an M1 MacBook Air. I'm able to save the preset with the 3 layers I added and sized, and when I exit VPT8 it prompts me to save a sources.json file in the default project-vpt8 folder, which I do. Then when I open the VPT8 app again and load the default project, my preset is there but it only has saved the 1st layer. I double checked that I'm saving in slot 1 (not 0) after I added all my layers.

Anyone have any suggestions/something I'm not doing/checking? Thanks!
