Program can't start because QTCF.dll is missing.

So every time I try to start the program it will come up with this error:

The program will launch after the error message pops up a few more times but when I try to define video1 it comes up with the error again:

After clicking ok a few more times, the program will proceed as usual but when I add a layer, it won't appear on the output screen:

I have re-installed the program a couple times now and it has not helped. 

I am running Windows 8.1 and VPT 7 and I have QuickTime 7 installed

Hi,
we just had this error occur in a workshop I am teaching this week with the same windows 8.1 system. If you look closely in the message window, it says that quicktime is not installed. What you should try to do is download the latest quicktime driver, deinstall the existing quicktime, then install again and it is important to do a restart after that. That worked here at least.
