I've posted posted a minimally edited transcript of the Virginia Board
of Education's public-comment hearing at Oakton High School on June 2.
(Please let me know, by the way, if you see any mistakes.)
It was a little bit embarrassing to read my own garbled syntax, but
many of the parents who spoke that night were forceful and eloquent.
If you weren't there, here's a chance to get a feel for what the
session was like. I'm pretty sure that more parents spoke at this
hearing than at any of the other eight.
