VPL in Chennai

Hi All

So as we had discussed during VPL Bangalore, should we go ahead and start one in Chennai in 2014? 

I am confident that I can get at least 5-6 teams for the tournament without trying much. So if we promote it across Chennai for a 2-3 months in advance we can easily get 12 teams.

I have spoken with a friend who used to play in YMCA ground. They almost charge 3800 Rs per match for corporate tournaments but if we can get a christian missionary recommendation, they might reduce it or give it for free as the association of the ground supports such activities. Again there are a few other grounds where we can talk and take for a much lesser price.

Also Rajesh had told me, he knows some 5-6 people who would volunteer for us, I can get some 5-6 volunteers and if we manage more 5-6 people to help us in the event, I guess we will have good number of people to start.

We do have a vibha volunteer there who is a close friend of mine. She is marked on this mail.

She dint get much support from the earlier volunteers but if there is an event it may help boost the moral and actually build an active volunteer chapter.

get name of all volunteers first.  lets call them up. have meeting and then plan .
