Has anyone else had this happen, when I upgraded to WP 2.5 my "add
media" option in WP went away when I activated the Vpip plugin. Now I
know for the most part this may not be an issue but what if I want to
upload a picture to my post, etc.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, I guess I am confused, It's the Vpip plugin that's causing the
issue, at least for me. I did not see any updates to Vpip, so the
solution is to turn off the Vpip plugin completely? Or just when I
want to add a picture? I was hoping to not have to turn of Vpip
completely as that was the main reason why I switched from Blogger to
Wordpress, more control, etc....

It looks like Enric's on the job. I'm sure he and the other WP vPIP users appreciate your troubleshooting to narrow it down to his plugin, I know I do:)

Humm, I just tried the "Add Media" button for image on a localhost install of wordpress 2.5 with vPIP and it worked fine.  It sounds like you weren't even seeing the button for "Add Media" when vPIP is on, right?

Yea, it's gone completely for me...I am using Yahoo as my web host,
maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure....I did find out if
I go to the Vpip config under settings and uncheck "Use the Media
Entry interface for media entry and theme display?" the Add Media
buttons come back, but I want to be able to use the media
interface....Is there anythinkg I can give you that may help in
troubleshooting?

Ok, Enric just looked at my site and it looks like the issue is with
Vpip and IE 7, not sure about IE 6 if anyone wants to check that out,
let us know. Enric recomended using Firefox for the Admin functions
until he has the time to look at it more.
