thickbox, here today, gone tomorrow

hi everyone
i am loving thickbox on this portfolio page i've created

it works great for what i'm doing
which is linking full size videos to smaller thumbnails.

however, if you click on the thumbnails a second time
after clicking and maybe watching first and closing the thickbox
videos play inline on the page.

just a side note
i'm using a bit of extra code i got from daniel liss of pouringdown.tv
(instead of just linking video to image which should enable thickbox)
because my videos weren't playing at the correct size and i found that daniels vids on pouringdown
always played the right size.
so he gave me this-

i've compared linking straight to the video
with adding this bit of code
and i get the same results
1st try=thickbox play
2nd try=inline play

anyone know why this would be happening?

Ryan, when I clicked on the videos the first time it did exactly as
you said which I love. I think I want to do that on all my archive
pages - very very cool.

BUT it did something else on the second click. It played the first
video - "in-line" as you said, but the 2nd and 3rd videos, it asked me
if I wanted to open them with winamp - a flash player that I have on
my Sony Vaio. Not good.
