I'm working with a 1280x720 video in Internet Explorer and Firefox as
a test:
<div class="hvlog" style="position: relative;"><a href="/etipedia/
images/f/f6/Masseffect_combat_wrex_01_1280x720.wmv" rel="enclosure"
class="hVlogTarget" title="Masseffect_combat_wrex_01_1280x720.wmv"
type="type="video/x-ms-wmv" onclick="vPIPPlay(this, 'width=320,
height=260, autostart=true, controller=true, name=MyMovie,
revert=true', 'active=false,
caption=Masseffect_combat_wrex_01_1280x720.wmv'); return false;"><img
width=256, height=256 src="/etipedia/extensions/EmbeddedVideo/
video.png" /><p>Masseffect_combat_wrex_01_1280x720.wmv</p><div
style="position:absolute; left: 5px; top: 5px; font-weight:
bold;"><img src="/etipedia/extensions/EmbeddedVideo/PlayButton.gif"
\></div></a></div>
In Internet Explorer (6), the inline player is 320x260 and the video
is resized to fit within the player. As I would expect.
In Firefox (3), the area for the player stays at 320x260, but the
video (and player) are not resized, and only the top-left 320x260 of
the video can be seen playing on the page.
Is this a known issue with Firefox and vPIP? I really like how it
works in IE, and wish it would work the same in Firefox.
Thanks a lot!
