  Hello to everybody,

  First of all, excuse me if the question seems obvious, but maybe I am too slow or my Linux knowledge is not quite high. The thing is that I have been able to install VOTCA and using the build.sh script I already installed Gromacs, but know I see the version of Gromacs installed is a little bit out of date. Is there any way to make build.sh to install a newer version or to update it?

Thank you very much

Hi,

you can run
$ ./build.sh ... gromacs
to build a newer gromacs version
(see <https://code.google.com/p/votca/wiki/Installing#Gromacs>)
The default gromacs version to build is 4.6.7, but you can change that
with --gmx-release=XXX.
