Do you require Google Cloud Big Table or SQL to host the site in App Engine

Do you require the Google Cloud SQL to host the site in App Engine? I understand that i i need to integrate Wordpress with App Engine then i will require it
I even understand that Vosao uses Google Big Table. If that is the case then it will require billing to be setup. Please correct me if this is not right.

You only have to create a Google App Engine account

As per the Vosao CMS website, we can launch website for free in Google App Engine but isn't Vosao uses Big table? If we need to use Google big table then we need to enable the pricing so how come is it free?

Vosao uses Big Table through Datastore service. And Datastore service has a free quote.
