"Cache reset" killed my data limit. How about you

Hi,

I recently updated a load of pages on a site and as I was getting some
cached pages, I went to the config section and hit the Cache reset
button. After that the site died due to exceeding my quota on data
store writes. Oops. I had to wait 24 hours for the site to come back.

This has happened once in the past.

Is there any advice on a way for me to lower the impact of this call?
Would clearing out some unused pages and resources make a difference?

I'm running 0.9.11 on the site. (I can't upgrade past that until the
text editor "line alignment bug" is fixed. issue 548)
