Error window

Hi,

After compiling a package, I get "Warning: Package Body created with compilation errors.", however the error window is not showing up.

I see the errors in the all_errors view.

Do you have any ideas where to look?

Hi,

The error message window is displayed for plsql buffers only. Please open the package in Vorax/Vim and issue:

:SQLGetType

Do you get "plsqlvorax" in the echoed message?

Yes the buffer type is plsqlvorax.

Compilation (leader + c) also works, and I see the errors in the all_errors view, however the error window is not displayed.

Does this happen for all packages or just for one particular package? It might be a bug. Can you provide a simple test case for reproducing the issue?

Hi,

I only tried it with only one or two packages, but I will try with other and see.

Also I have the Vorax log file (attached), if that helps.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't say where the problem is just by looking into the log, so I will wait for you to test with other packages as well. It would be helpful to test with an actual plsql package in order to reproduce the issue.

Sorry for the late answer. I tried several things (other packages and a newer sqlplus version), but the error window is still not showing up.

However I can get the errors fixed by looking at the all_errors view in a separate tab, so it is not a big deal after all.

Hi Alec,

I have found the source of the problem: Syntastic was also installed, and for some reason this caused the location window to be hidden.

(When I manually issued lwindow, the location window has showed, but it has disappeared again, when I double clicked on any of the errors. This problem has resolved, when I removed Syntastic)
