Vorax 4 Doesn't Build

When I'm trying to build the Vorax gem, the native extensions build fails.  The failure appears to be in the sdsykes-ferret build and the message is:

fs_store.c: In function ‘fsi_close_i’:
fs_store.c:300:9: error: format not a string literal and no format arguments [-Werror=format-security]
         RAISE(IO_ERROR, strerror(errno));
         ^
cc1: some warnings being treated as errors
make: *** [fs_store.o] Error 1

My operating system is:

Linux century 3.11.0-23-generic #40-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 4 21:05:23 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
