Background: The construct of mixed depression (MxD), namely the simultaneous presence of excitatory symptoms during a depressive episode, has gained increased interest in the recent years. The Koukopoulos Mixed Depression Rating Scale (KMDRS) has been recently validated for the diagnosis and assessment of MxD. The aim of this study was to validate the Italian version of the KMDRS.

Methods: Patients with a major depressive episode (MDE) (N=396, age, mean=44.73 years, SD=15.93) were recruited at Lucio Bini Center, Rome, Italy. All participants were administered the Italian version of the KMDRS, the Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS), the Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS), the Clinical Global Impressions (CGI), and the Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF). We calculated predictive validity, and performed Receiver Operator Curve (ROC) analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and inter-rater reliability.

Results: In total, 182 episodes of candidaemia were identified, with an average incidence of 2.22 episodes/10,000 patient-days/year (range 1.25-3.06 episodes). Incidence of candidemia increased during the study period from 1.25 in 1999 to 3.06/10,000 patient-days/year in 2003. Overall, 40% of the fungemia episodes (74/182) were due to C.albicans, followed by C. parapsilosis (23%), C.glabrata (15%), C.tropicalis (9%) and other species (13%). Candidemia due to non-albicans species increased and this was apparently correlated with an increasing use of azoles for prophylaxis or empirical treatment.

The second generation Picanto made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.[29] Designed by Kia's European design team based in Frankfurt, Germany, under the direction of Peter Schreyer, the new model is longer in wheelbase and overall length than its predecessor. The Picanto is offered with a choice of two gasoline engines: a 1.0 liter three-cylinder[25] or a 1.25 liter four-cylinder. The Europe-spec 1.25 liter engine features ecoDynamics, Kia's start-stop system.[30] In addition, there is also a petrol/LPG version of the 1.0 liter engine available.[28] The Brazil version is equipped with a flex fuel version of the 1.0 liter engine that uses both petrol and ethanol.[26]

Super delicious! Found I had to add 1-2 Tbl. flour to get the right consistency but that is normal with bread & flour brands IMO. The second time around I added a mixture of cup light brown sugar packed,1 tablespoon ground cinnamon,4 TBS salted butter melted, and raisins to roll in one loaf, and butter with garlic slices in the second loaf. Both were yum! Baked up perfect in my 1.25 lb USA loaf pans. This recipe is a keeper! Thank you for sharing!

Standing just over two metres high, this imposing marble sculpture depicts two naked men locked in combat. The motif of the piece, 'Samson Slaying a Philistine', is taken from an episode described in the Bible, in the Old Testament's Book of Judges: 'And he (Samson) found a new jawbone of an ass, and put his hand and took it and slew a thousand men therewith'. Carved in Florence, probably between 1560 and 1562, it was the work of an artist known by the name of Giambologna. 'Giambologna' was a contraction of 'Giovanni of Bologna', a title that came from the artist's actual name: Jean Boulogne. Giambologna had come from Flanders to Italy in around 1550 to study the masterpieces of classical and Renaissance sculpture. On his homeward journey he was persuaded to stay in Florence by the Medici family, the dynasty that controlled the Republic of Florence, and by the middle of the 1560s he was firmly established as a court sculptor.

Pound it for about a minute getting it as thin as possible. Then dust both sides with salt and pepper.\n\nMix the Parmesan, Provolone, breadcrumbs, parsley, and garlic together in a bowl. Then spread them out evenly on the top of the flank steak.\n\nNext roll up the steak, and tie it closed with 3-4 pieces of butcher's twine. Tie the twine tightly so that the filling won't fall out of the steak as it cooks.\n\nThen melt the butter in a dutch oven over medium high heat, and brown the steak on all sides. This will take about 8 minutes total, turning the steak every 2 minutes.\n\nOnce the steak has been browned, add the white wine, and bring to a bubble. Then pour the tomato sauce over the steak, and cover it with a lid, and place it in the oven.\n\nRoast the steak at 300 degrees for 1 1\/2 hours, basting the steak every 30 minutes, by spooning the tomato sauce over it.\n\nAfter 90 minutes, pull the dutch oven out of the oven, and let the braciole rest for 10 minutes before slicing it. Remove the butcher's twine as you slice. Serve immediately after slicing, spooning some of the tomato sauce on top.","keywords":"braciole, dinner, dinner party, special occasion dinner","aggregateRating":"@type":"AggregateRating","ratingValue":"4.3","reviewCount":407,"url":"https:\/\/thekittchen.com\/braciole-the-perfect-valentines-day-dinner\/"Braciole with Tomato SauceYield: 2-3 servingsActive Time: 20 minutes Additional Time: 1 hour 30 minutes Total Time: 1 hour 50 minutes Braciole is a recipe that is perfect for a special occasion that only requires 20 minutes of active preparation time. Today, the persecution and internment of Italian Americans is a relatively unknown episode in the history of World War II, in part because of the humiliation and silence of the Italian Americans forced to live it.

Pamela Dare was a famous author who is also a centuries-old succubus, and in the episode's early scenes, she is shown draining the life force of a male fan who wanted her autograph. She is later interviewed by Lana Lang and TJ White, leading to the villainess seducing the latter, mainly to get him to reveal that he knows Superboy.

Later in the episode, Pamela is confronted by Lana over her actions, which caused TJ (under Pamela's seductive spell) to punch Clark after he found her with him. However, the evil Pamela threatened Lana and held her and TJ captive by placing them in her deathtraps, which drew Superboy to her. After revealing her true nature, Pamela unleashed her power and fed off of Superboy, but he was still able to save Lana and TJ in time. As for Pamela, Superboy's life force proved to be her undoing, as she was growing younger and younger and was finally reduced to crystalized form.

The observations at the three rain gauges over the Apennines (see their location in Fig. 3) clearly reflects the east-west gradient and the strong spatial variability of the rainfall field (Fig. 9), due to its convective nature. Weak precipitation (less than 100 mm in 48 h) is recorded in the southwestern part of Piedmont, mainly during the final phase of the event, associated with the passage of the front. Moving eastward along the Apennines divide, precipitation intensity progressively increases, exceeding 250 mm in 48 h. At the Ponzone rain gauge, most of the rainfall, about 150 mm in less than 6 h, is due to a convective episode in the evening of 4 November. At Priero, less than 60 km to the west, rainfall starts later and seems to be characterized by several consecutive convective showers occurring until the evening of 5 November. The mean intensity provided by almost all model simulations underestimates the observed rainfall, but it is worth noting that forecasts are able to correctly display the characteristics of the rainfall fields described above. However, models hardly reproduce the sharp peak observed in Ponzone, where they forecast a more constant rainfall rate. As expected, BOLAM rainfall is systematically lower than that of MOLOCH. Variability is not particularly large among MOLOCH simulations, in agreement with the previous analysis of the rainfall fields, and seems primarily ascribable to the initial conditions. In fact, MOL and MOLexp experiments, both initialized at 0000 UTC, produce similar results, while MOL12, initialized 12 h later, is somehow different. MOLOCH simulation at 500 m performs best on average; although, it presents a remarkable local overestimation of the maximum precipitation at the easternmost rain gauge location (Capanne).
