Ihave used the app before on many other phones without issue, however I am not able to get it working on my current device. I am using a Lenovo ZUK Z2 Plus with LineageOS 18.1 custom ROM based on Android 11.
I have installed the app and enabled the advanced player tracking switch, with both DUMP permission and notification listener permission granted. All of my audio player apps (Spotify, YouTube, etc) appear in the "Known Players" section with the switches enabled. When I play audio from these apps it shows "Time last seen: 0 minutes ago"
Despite this, there is no sound processed by Poweramp EQ. The name of the current player does not appear above the bass/treble knobs on the homescreen and there is no sound visualisation even though Poweramp EQ has permissions for full microphone access.
Can anyone figure out what could be causing this issue? I have attached some screenshots that I hope will be of assistance. The stock AudioFX equaliser that comes with Lineage has been switched off and disabled via ADB.
I have attached another screenshot below showing some other apps I have tried. None of these apps are being processed by Poweramp EQ despite appearing in the "Known Players" list. I am able to use Poweramp with all of these apps on my other devices.
I have tried re-enabling the built-in AudioFX equaliser that comes with LineageOS. This equaliser works fine with all apps. However, Poweramp does not work no matter if AudioFX is enabled/disabled via ADB or simply switched on or off inside the app.
I have observed when I start playing audio from any app, for example Spotify, the Poweramp EQ icon appears in the statusbar for a few seconds before disappearing. It shows in the Known Players menu as "Last seen: 0 minutes ago" but then the timer will start counting upwards eg. "Last seen: 5 minutes ago" despite the music still playing with no interruptions.
@P650SE never received anything from you with the log to
gpma...@gmail.com. Anyway if it's not working with Spotify (not lite, the original app), then system is missing some component related to the audio processing/equalizer.
Back to spawning, the GameMode class will try to choose the best PlayerStart to spawn your player. This is done using the following functions: FindPlayerStart and ChoosePlayerStart. What it does by default (you can override it in C++ if you like) is to choose the best PlayerStart where the player can fit in, if not you will get a warning like: Warning - PATHS NOT DEFINED or NO PLAYERSTART with positive rating
Was same trouble - player was always spawned at zero point and ignored player spawn markers.
I use streaming world, and my mistake was that i add player marker inside streamed level. So, solution was to delete marker and add to streaming node.
THIS. I just lost like 2 hours or more, and all I had to do was move the Player ever so slightly up (I was messing with game modes, blueprints etc.). FAIL. They should put that player info as warning or error in the Ouput Log, so that it is easier to see.
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
Since last week the Web Player is working correctly in every way except it won't play anything!
I can search, browse albums/playlists, add tracks to playlists, but as soon as I try to hit a Play button nothing happens.
Thank you so much! I was trying so many things. Then I followed your suggestion and just clicked on the devices dropdown to select my computer (also listening while at work) and tada! I have music again. The desktop app is full of bugs and basically unuseable to me so having the web player down was a nightmare. You rock!
I've had this same issue twice now. The first time it accidentally resolved just by fiddling with the android spotify. The second time I didn't have it installed in my phone anymore so I contacted a friend who recently had the same issue. The solution was to go to facebook web page -> [apps and websites] and remove spotify from accessing facebook... or something like that. Then I restarted chromium and suddenly everything works.
My Roku Ultra with the Roku Media Player has been working with my miniDLNA media server for some time with no issues. Today (3/28/2023) it recognizes the server but it displays an error message that says no compatible audio (or photos) are available. I have reinstalled the app, rebooted the Roku, and removed power for a cold boot. Nothing changed. Has a new version of the app appeared to cause this failure?
RMP still works with my Serviio DLNA servers. That said, Roku hasn't done any development on RMP for over two years, and it has a number of flaws with video playback. Since they haven't released a new version of RMP, there's only two possible issues. One is that a Roku OS update might have caused a problem, but unless you just today received Roku OS 12.0, there probably hasn't been an update since your problem appeared. The other issue would be that your DLNA server has an issue. However, since you can still access your DLNA server using other devices, that doesn't seem likely either. So I'm at a loss what it might be.
When you first start RMP, did you try selecting "all" for the media type? That's the screen before you select your DLNA server. I'm just wondering if the setting might have been changed from the type of media you're trying to play.
In VLC while playing music or some videos, I the jump forward hotkeys are not working. Jump back work fine but even if I change the jump forward keys in the settings it will not work. Any suggestions?
I discovered (at least on Mac) that you have to save, completely quit VLC (Cmd+Q may work - i.e. make sure all instances are closed) and then restart VLC and open your video. The keyboard shortcuts should work now, at least it did in my case.
With Windows 10 (and possibly other versions of Windows after Windows 7), the change of the keyboard layout is global (in Windows 7 and earlier, the keyboard layout was tied to the individual applications that you were running).
Found in another site:The problem is that by default the left and right arrow keys are assigned to DVD options ("navigate left" and "navigate right"). This overrides the use of those keys for jumping through a video. The solution is simple! Just unassign those hotkeys (or assign them to other keys). Hey Presto, the problem is fixed.
Hello there are no jumperfor keyboard for the functions, maybe should help a autohotkey-jumper,to open the menu with alt+l andthan step by step with the scene-recordname of window in action.an e.G. program like this,at -routine-firefox-tasks-with-dejaclick/records events in firefox but not the menu-events.Andrew
I have just recently switched from an ultrabook to a macbook pro and I'm having some problems since this is the first time I have owned a mac. I have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash player but whenever I use safari and try to watch a video on youtube or any other website it tells me that I need to download the latest version of flash player. This only happens when I use safari, it works just fine on chrome. I have restarted my computer several times but that doesn't do anything. I have installed and uninstalled flash player several times but that doesn't do anything also. I have checked if the flash player plug-in is on my internet plug-ins folder and it is and the internet plug ins are not blocked on my safari preferences. This isn't the frst time that this has hapenned to me, when I first downloaded flah player I had the same problem but unfortunately I forgot how I fixed the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, I'm getting really annoyed by this since I never had this kind problem with my old ultrabook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1st) Click on the apple at the top left corner of your screen. Fourth option down, system preferences click this. Once system preferences opens up adobe flashplayer should be listed on the very bottom row, click this. Once adobe preferences are open make sure you are on the storage tab (listed accross the top), make sure "allow site to save information on this computer" is bulleted. Next click on the "local storage settings by site...". Once you click that, check to see if
youtube.com is listed in the box. If not then click the + symbol at the bottom left. Manually enter
www.youtube.com. Close out of everything.
2nd) Launch safari, look to the very top left corner of your screen. You'll see the word "Safari" just to the right of the Apple logo, click on this and go down to preferences. Next, go to the security tab accross the top. Make sure there is a tick/check mark in the "Allow Plug-ins" option. If it is, click "Manage website settings...". Then on the left-hand column select Flash Player. Then off to the right-hand pane, make sure that
youtube.com is listed and that its set to Allow. Quit and re-open Safari.
