我们有精彩的消息同时也需要你的帮助。你对在家就能学习到他国文化感兴趣么？
现在在家你就可以接待一名AFS交换生。
2006年8月初将有4或5名德国青年人来到上海参加为期6个月的社区服务。
他们的年龄在19到21岁间，将住在上海人家。
他们志愿在中国非盈利机构服务，并在其中学习中国语言和文化。他们将在以下组织中服务：根与芽、上海动物园、
新视觉残疾人爱心服务网和上海儿童博物馆。我们需要接待家庭来接纳这些来自德国的文化交流者。
重要信息：
人物：4到5名德国青年人，年龄在19以上
我们需要：中国家庭愿意接待德国青年人，为期6个月，能提供空间，并接纳交换生进入家庭生活。AFS不会经济上补助家庭，所以家庭应以文化交流和学习为目的。最好，能为接待学生提供一间单独的卧室。
时间：06年8月至07年1月或2月间（确切时间将进一步确认）
地点：上海市
目的：使德国青年人学习中国文化、语言；学习德国语言、文化；支持公益活动

Dear AFS Volunteers and Friends,
We have exciting news and need your help! Are you interested in
learning about a new culture or language from a foreigner without
leaving your home? Impossible? Well you can if you host an AFS
participant in your home.
In early August 2006, there will be 4-5 German young adults, ages
19-21, arriving in Shanghai to participate in a six-month Community
Service and Homestay Program. These young adults will be coming to
China to volunteer with various Chinese nonprofit organizations to
exchange language and culture all the while supporting a good cause.
The participants will volunteer at the following organizations: Roots &
Shoots, the Shanghai Zoo, New Vision for the Disabled, and the Shanghai
Children’s Discovery Museum. However, we need your help to find host
families for these German participants.
Who, What, When, Where and Why
Who: 4-5 German Young Adults aged 19, male and female to volunteer in
Shanghai for 6 months
What: Need Chinese host families who want to host a German young adult
for six months by providing room, board, and family structure. Families
should host for the cultural and language exchange as AFS does not
compensate or pay host families. It is best if participants can have
their own bedrooms.
When: August 2006 until January/February 2007 (exact dates will be
determined soon)
Where: Shanghai Metropolitan Area
Why: To share Chinese culture and language with a German young adult;
learn German culture and language; support a good cause
