他们的到来同时也给所有对AFS
感兴趣的人们带来了志愿机会。
接待部门：为了协调德国交流生的到来，我们需要志愿者来完成接待部门的工作。在接待部门你可以帮助小超和我来做以下事：
1） 面试接待家庭
2） 选择接待家庭并同德国交流生配对
3） 针对交流生的到来给接待家庭准备培训
4）
帮助小超撰写"欢迎来到上海"，给交流生的生活导读
5） 机场接人
6） 为德国交流生提供到达培训
7） 带交流生认识他们的家庭和他们所服务的机构
接待部门非常重要并要求一定量的时间投入，所以在做出决定前慎重考虑你是否有时间并承担以上工作和责任。特别是上述的培训将在八月初或八月底进行。

Dear AFS Volunteers and Friends,
Did you just read Julie Zhang's email about German young adults coming
to Shanghai in August? Are you excited for their arrival? Well, here is
an exciting volunteer opportunity for all interested and want to get
involved with AFS.
Hosting Committee: In anticipation for the German young adults'
arrival, we need volunteers to help with the hosting committee. In that
committee, you will help Julie and I do the following:
1) Interview potential host families
2) Select host families and select German participants for each
respective family
3) Prepare orientations for host families and volunteer
organizations in anticipation of the German participants arrival
4) Help Julie write a Welcome to Shanghai guide for the
participants
5) Help pick participants from the airport
6) Prepare and give arrival orientation to the German young
adults.
7) Introduce them to their host families and volunteer
organizations
The hosting committee is very important and require a fair amount of
time, so please indicate interest only if you feel that you can commit
to all of the responsibilities above, especially the orientations which
will take place in either early August or late August.
