The Bridge CDC's A Welcoming Richmond English Language and Civics Courses
A Welcoming Richmond needs volunteers to serve with us for 10 weeks, 6:30p to 8:30p two days a week. Volunteers can serve as Teacher Assistants, Childcare Assistant and we have a new vacancy for an Instructor. Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from February to May.
Each position require specific skills, however command of a foreign language, extensive training or experience in instruction is not necessary for every position.
As a volunteer of A Welcoming Richmond, you will change the lives of your students and join a fun, supportive team. A Welcoming Richmond is a great way to gain hands-on experience if you're interested in a career in education, social work, anthropology, social justice and advocacy.
