Bay County Audubon Invitation to a bird walk with Noah Strycker - Tuesday 8:15 am
Join with famous birdman Noah Strycker as he leads us on a bird walk this Tuesday (April 2) at St Andrews State Park. Park opens at 8 am, and we will meet at Gator Lake to start, around 8:15. The herons and egrets are nesting, migrants are starting to stop by the Park on their ways north, so it should be a rewarding nature visit with one of the most knowledgeable birders in the world. Weather forecast looks good. We may also visit the new owl nest near the boat landing; there are reports of a bald eagle nest nearby also. Good Birding!
Bay County Audubon invitation to a bird walk with Tom Nkwazi and Noah Strycker - Saturday 7:30 am
Two premier birders will show us how to really bird this Saturday at Neil and Susan Lamb's "birding magnet" acreage in College Point, Lynn Haven, starting at 7:30 am. The Lamb's address is 814 Tech Drive, easy to find on Google. Tom Nkwazi, professional safari guide from Botswana, and Noah Strycker, birder from just about everywhere, will lend ears and eyes to making this the most enjoyable birding experience for years to come. If 7:30 am seems early, come later and join in as the property is easily walkable and most will be exploring this nature haven property several times over, as birds fly in, fly around, and fly out, followed by others migrating north from South and Central America, and the Caribbean, as birds do every year. Fifty species is not uncommon for a morning's viewing at this beautiful birds-a- plenty location. These two will make bird identification easy and educational.
