Bay County Conservancy Mini Work Day

There is some netting that city workers applied to stabilize the levee along the drainage ditch at King Family Preserve that BCC would like to see removed because it is a hazard to wildlife. Bring some gloves and wear sturdy shoes (to protect against fire ants) and help pull up the netting. While on site, hear about plans for a “Walk On The Wild Side” to be developed along the ditch. We would like to erect wood duck boxes and display an informational sign or two, so you could help plan for that. Then, anyone who wants to cool off with a smoothie is invited to join us at Tropical Smoothies next to Publix.
