Celebrate New Year with Peace: Smitha Prabhu, Mrs. India- Pride of the Nation-2021

Mrs. India - Pride of the Nation 2021, Mrs. Smitha Prabhu has appealed to people to celebrate New Year very peacefully. Speaking in A Facebook Live Video in Bengaluru with Chetan Upadhyaya of Satya Foundation, an Organization battling against Noise Pollution for the last 13 years, Smitha Prabhu said that all the existing Noise Rules must be uniformly applied to Temples, Mosques and all places of Worship.  Which means that Sound should be totally switched off between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. and the height of Loudspeaker should not be more than 8 feet from the ground level with Speaker Box facing inwards. At the same time, anyone blowing Horn, Band or Loudspeaker in Silence Zone must be fined. On the question of using Firecrackers and D.J. on Festivals and also the New Year, she said that Loud Sound and Fumes disturb all the people. if it is D.J., it must be played inside Sound Proof Auditorium and otherwise we should celebrate New Year in such a low noise level that sound is restricted to the boundary of our house and do not do anything which tortures your neighbours.

मिसेज इंडिया - प्राईड आफ द नेशन, श्रीमती स्मिता प्रभु ने कहा है कि नए साल के जश्न को शांतिपूर्वक मनायें. ध्वनि प्रदूषण के खिलाफ 13 वर्षों से राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सक्रिय, वाराणसी की संस्था 'सत्या फाउंडेशन' के संस्थापक सचिव चेतन उपाध्याय के साथ बेंगलूरू में बातचीत के फेसबुक लाईव वीडियो में स्मिता प्रभु ने मस्जिद-मंदिर व अन्य धार्मिक स्थलों के लाउडस्पीकर को नियंत्रित करने हेतु वर्तमान कानूनों को कड़ाई से लागू करने की बात कही.  इसका मतलब यह हुआ कि रात 10 से सुबह 6 के बीच साऊण्ड पूरी तरह आफ हो, दिन के दौरान भी स्पीकर बॉक्स ककी ऊंचाई जमीन से 8 फ़ीट से अधिक नहीं हो और स्पीकर बॉक्स का मुंह अंदर की तरफ हो. स्मिता प्रभु ने साइलेंस जोन में हार्न, बैंड और स्पीकर पर जुर्माना लगाने की बात कही. नए साल के मौके पर पटाखे और डी.जे. के सवाल पर मिसेज इंडिया प्राईड आफ द नेशन, स्मिता प्रभु ने कहा कि तेज आवाज और धुंये से सभी को परेशानी होती है. अगर आप डीजे बजा रहे हैं तो इसे साऊण्ड प्रूफ हाल में बजायें . अपनी खुशियां अपने आंगन में ही मनायें और ऐसा कोई कृत्य नहीं करें जिससे आसपास के लोगों को कोई भी तकलीफ हो.
