Startup Canada - New Canadian-Owned Businesses Focus Group - Monday, March 13 - 6pm

The Canadian Trade Commissioner service and Startup Canada are running focus groups across Canada and the Halifax event is Monday March 13th at Volta (1505 Barrington), We are looking for New Canadian-owned Businesses to participate. This round table discussion is for entrepreneurs who are permanent residents or recent Canadian citizens who have immigrated to Canada and who are doing international business. It will take place at Volta Labs (1505 Barrington Street) from 6-8 pm. As a participant, you will lend your voice to a report on The State of New Canadian-Owned Enterprises in Canada. This study will uncover the characteristics, global orientation and export capabilities of new Canadian-owned enterprises as compared with the general population. The study will highlight key differentiators, strengths, and barriers faced by new Canadian entrepreneurs. The information collected in the study will be used to better tailor and target services offered by Canadian Trade Commissioner Services and the wider entrepreneur support community for new Canadian entrepreneurs doing international business.
