Is this Volley library still maintained ?

Is this volley library still maintained ? i mean, this library still use old apache http client, not Okhttp etc. Also they need some interface for building request like Retrofit libray.

If the target device running android 2.3 or higher ,it will use HttpUrlConnection instead of HttpClient.
