My question is, am I allowed to continue to use the student version until it expires even AFTER I graduate? Or must I stop using the license the day I graduate? (I believe my grades will be coming in soon).
So basically, you need to be a current graduate in order to obtain the license, however, you can use it until its expiration after graduation. You just can't renew it once you are no longer a student. Which obviously makes sense.
The Education plan gives eligible students and educators free* one-year, single-user access to Autodesk software and services for Educational Purposes. You can access all software available through the Education Community and access is renewable annually as long as you are eligible.

Download and install available software titles to your personal computer through the Cal Poly Software Hub. These software titles are available to students, staff, and faculty for teaching and learning.
The Cal Poly Software Hub also connects you to the Virtual Computer Labs (AppStream), and enables students, staff, and faculty to work with a variety of academic software tools, all through a web browser, anytime from on- or off-campus.
ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap 10.x desktop GIS software are available for students, staff, and faculty to install on campus or their own personal computers for academic use. This includes the ArcGIS Advanced license, with extensions such as 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, and others. Note: ArcGIS requires the Windows operating system. ERDAS IMAGINE photogrammetry & remote sensing software is available for student academic use on personal computers (Windows OS). Request an activation code for ERDAS IMAGINE (Cal Poly Log-in). Online tutorials are available through Hexagon Geospatial U.

MATLAB is a programming platform used to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. RIT has a licensing agreement with MathWorks to provide faculty, staff and students with access to many products in the MATLAB suite. The software is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. RIT's contract covers a selection of Standard and Additional Toolboxes.
Several departments are sharing a campus license for Minitab and Minitab Express to be used on RIT-owned computers. Minitab is a Windows-only application where as Minitab Express is available for Windows and Mac. To get Minitab or Minitab Express for your RIT Owned computer, please contact your Systems Administrator. Minitab and Minitab Express are also available for use by all current students and faculty on their personal computer for academic purposes. ITS maintains an annual academic subscription site license for SAS for Windows. SAS brings you a complete suite of products for data access, data management, data analysis and data presentation. AutoCAD is licensed, for free, to students, educators, and educational institutions, with a 12-month renewable license available. Licenses acquired before March 25, 2020 were a 36-month license, with its last renovation on March 24, 2020.[28] The student version of AutoCAD is functionally identical to the full commercial version, with one exception: DWG files created or edited by a student version have an internal bit-flag set (the "educational flag"). When such a DWG file is printed by any version of AutoCAD (commercial or student) older than AutoCAD 2014 SP1 or AutoCAD 2019 and newer, the output includes a plot stamp/banner on all four sides. Objects created in the Student Version cannot be used for commercial use. Student Version objects "infect" a commercial version DWG file if they are imported in versions older than AutoCAD 2015 or newer than AutoCAD 2018.[29]
