Is it just me or maybe I'm not looking hard enough on splice? Maybe those on looperman(since they're making them for free) have less of a financial incentive to produce quantity over quality. Anybody find good samples on splice? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
Is it possible to make beats exclusively with loops from looperman? I find it's hard to put more than two or three loops together before the sounds begin to clash with each other. I don't have money for good VSTs, any tips on working with loops?
I'm sure a lot of you already know, looperman is a great site for loops and collabing with other producers, thing is, I can't upload anything. If you use looperman I'm sure you know how much of a pain it is to get authorized. It's been almost a year since I requested and I triple checked that I matched all the criteria and still no response, even with 2 accounts.
For the last 6 months, I've been analyzing the most popular looperman loops for specific genres and have been posting them to a twitter bot I created here: I've gathered some good data that I think the community would find valuable so I've exported the top 500 loops (by download count) and put them into a google sheet for you to use.
