It's been the better part of a year in the making, but I've finally completed enough of a BRAND NEW version of the app ready to be tested. I have written this one in Flutter, a cross-platform language made by Google that allows the compiling of both an Android and an iPhone version from the SAME CODE BASE. As you can't sideload apps on an iPhone, the test of that version will be delayed until the Android testing has cleared up enough bugs to move forward. To make even a beta test version on the iPhone I must pay Apple's highway-robbery fee of $100 per year to get an App Store account.
I'll be doing the initial beta testing of the Android version via sideloading, because if I made it an official beta on the Play Store it would need to have the same App ID as the old one and if you install the beta, you'd have to replace the old one. Doing it this way allows you to maintain BOTH versions at the same time. The test build will have ALL features wide open, so you don't NEED to have a Pro version to try it.
It's not quite ready to go, but I expect to have the first build in your hands within the next few days to a week. For now, check out this screen capture video I made demonstrating just a little of what to expect. Besides looking WAY MORE MODERN, the app is faster, more efficient in its use of the VoIP.ms server, and has a lot more features. Please note I've applied obfuscation to names, phone numbers, email addresses, and passwords so that I don't give away personal information. It looks a little odd as a result, but you should be able to see through that.
If it looks like you'd want to get in on the testing, send an email to me at
