App Icon Appearance

I recently learned that my icon may not look exactly the same on most people's phones as I'd intended it to look. From the beginning I'd intended it to be a FULL globe with transparency, and NOT that icon shrunk inside a while circle or other geometric shape. I'm therefore wondering how the app's icon look on your phone? If possible, please provide an image, but if not, just a description will be fine.

For any of you who have a way to replace stock app icons (such as with the Theme Park plugin for Good Lock on Samsung devices) and don't like my icon inside another shape, I have attached the full icon for VoIP.ms Console to this message. Here's what it looks like on my phone:

I wish Google hadn't changed Android to FORCE new icons to appear inside a shaped background without the option of showing it in full, but at least many launchers have the ability to let you override this.
