lately I have been experiencing some crashes (client) whilst working on a gamemode and therefore tabbing out/in from the game or reconnecting to the server. It happens usually after a certain time when either tabbing in to the game or reconnecting.
Excuse me in advance if this is caused by any of the few mods to my gta-sa which I suspected after seeing the note that the gta_sa.exe itself crashed but I could not explain to myself why these crashes would start now all of a sudden when I had used the same mods for some months now.
Both of your crashes are related to anims. Do you use custom animations (IFP)? If you do, then they might be corrupt and I'd advise you to stop using it to find out, or have someone experienced with anims take a look at it/attempt to fix them up.
Also, @Saml1er is interested to learn more about these particular crashes, so if you are using custom anims, it would be appreciated if you sent all of them (preferably along with your relevant crash dumps) to him in a forum PM.
I'm creating a program that opens to applications (.exe). I can open one of them, that's a windowed application (samp.exe), but I can't open the other one (gta_sa.exe), that's a fullscreen application.
i want to add a gps navigation mod to my gta san andreas (latest steam version). So i have downloaded the latest installer from _setup.exe and selected "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas" as folder to install (all other settings set default) and installed it after backuping the vorbisFile.dll file. After that i have started gta but it now crashes all the time i load a game/ start a new game or enter audio settings with this message:
I think you are using the wrong gta_sa.exe version. For example, i am using gta_sa.exe Version 1.0 US HOODLUM. Im not gonna post a link, you can use Google to find it. Just make a Backup of the original gta_sa.exe and place the 1.0 exe in that place.
