Turn-by-turn directions

Somebody pointed out to me that VoiceVista will give turn-by-turn
directions to a destination if you set a beacon on it. So that is very
cool.  The problem is that it is inconvenient to have to set a beacon on
a destination in order to get turn-by-turndirections. Either you have to
put up with the pinging from the beacon or you have to go into settings
and turn off the ping sound effect.

Really, the problem is that while setting a beacon on a destination and
asking for turn-by-turn directions are similar they are different
functions. Usually, you set a beacon once you are very close to the
destination. You might be miles away from your destination when you ask
for directions.
