Good afternoon, 

I’m using VoiceVista with my visually impaired daughter to teach her routes on a college campus. I can scarcely bring to express what a monumental task this has been.

She is working really hard to create mental maps of all her routes on the campus. My husband and I tried many apps before settling on yours.

We’ve created markers at each decision point (turn right, turn left, crosswalk). The problem we are running into with the app is it begins announcing the following marker before she has reached the current marker, which is confusing when learning a route. 

Could you add an option to ‘Announce only active marker,’ where the next marker isn’t announced until the current marker has been reached? This would make VoiceVista much more effective for orientation and mobility instruction.  I can absolutely see the benefit of knowing what’s ahead, but for her (and frankly for myself who has full sight) it’s extremely confusing to hear competing information over and over.
